The death occurred at Dunedin on I Sunday of Mr John Cooke, a member of the firm of Messrs Cooke and Matthews, printers, Rattray Street. The deceased had been in failing health for the past twelve months. Mr Cooke took a keen interest in various branches of sport and was an enthusiastic member of the Otago Bowling Club.
