(Special to the “Star.") AUCKLAND, June 21. Among the horses wrho were in the money at the Great Northern meeting, likely to face the starter at Trentham, are Master Doon, Kamehameha and Rahepoto. The Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting nominations closed last night, so it will soon be known if rumour is right for once. D. P. Moraghan’s pair. When owner-trainer IT. W. Burch’s two charges, Stormy and his half-sister Breezy, won on the same day at Newcastle, about a fortnight ago, they were ridden by R. O’Rell. who was retained by Mr W. R. Kemball’s stable at Master ton in 1921-22.
Advices by the Mararna.s mail today are to the effect that M. Poulson, the Randwick trainer, took a fancy to Burche’s pair and secured a week's option of purchase over Stormy and Breezy.
