The young man who is in custody on a charge of attempting to murder acting-De Lee live Power on June 14 made a further appearance at the Police Court this morning, when the police asked for a further remand. This was granted. Mr Baxter, who appeared for accused, said that the circumstances had caused his parents and friends some distress, and lie desired the suppression of the name. Mr McKean: I don’t see the necessity. The name was published when lie first appeared. Mr Baxter: 1 know that, but the relatives desire suppression in the meantime.
