NEW FULLER THEATRE IN AUCKLAND WILL COST QUARTER OF A MILLION.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Juac SI. In connection with the erection of the new theatre b3 r Messrs John Fullei and Sons to replace the Opera House, destroyed by fire last 3-ear, additional premises next to Tonson Garlick’s block, already bought, have been purchased at a cost of £60,000. The price paid for the whole Queen Street frontage is over i’looo a foot, while the cost of the whole scheme, including the theatre and the site, will be about a quarter of a million pounds.
