SHIRLEY BOWLING CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING.
The first annual meeting of the Shirley Bowling: Club was held in the new pavilion in the Richmond Domain last evening. Mr W. D. Ramsay presided over a good attendance.
The annual report and balance-sheet indicated a satisfactory position, and were adopted.
Officers were elected ss follows: Patron, Mr P. W. Sharpe; president, Mr W. D. Ramsay; vice-president, Mr J. B. Johns; lion secretary, Mr YV. O. Prankland : assistant - secretary, Mr YV. YVrigglesworth; hon treasurer, Mr 11. He ward; delegate to centre and sole selector, Mr YV. 13. Ramsay; management committee, Messrs Kearney, Ashley, Robb, West, and Dick.
Motions of thanks were accorded the past officers. A large photograph of the opening function at the green was presented to the club by Mr Johns. It was reported that various improvements to the green and surroundings were being made.
