PASSENGERS NOW HAVE TO MEET FINES. “In none of these cases is there any suggestion of attempting to the Tramway Board,” said Mr Muter ison, when charges were brought before Mr H. P. Lowry in the Magistrate s Court this morning against several persons of having failed to pay tram . ‘ares. “These people are giving a great deal of trouble to the board,” added counsel, "and the board has decided , to cute if payment is not made m a r enable time.
