The New Zealand headquarters of the Dairy Produce Board have Juet received a cablegram from London that they have arranged for shipping advances to be increased to the following rates:— Creamery Butter—Finest grade Is 2d. first grade Is 2&d, second grade la ltd per lb. Whey Butter—First grade Is Id, second grade 1» Per lb. Cheese—Finest grade, first 6id. second 6£d per lb, with a premium of 2s 4d per crate for finest grade cheese. These rates apply to produce graded on anil after May 1, 1927. Advances against store warrants on produce Intended for shipment will be henceforward:— Creamery Butter—£3 per box.
