MOTOR THIEVES MAKE RAID ON POST OFFICE.
Per Press Association. LEVIN, May 21. A raid by motor thieves appears to have been made up the coast last night. A car was stolen from F. R. Holton’s garage at Paekakariki during the night and was subsequently found to have been rim over the wharf at Poxton into the Manawatu River. Ellis’s bakker’s shop was entered at Paekakariki. Later the Ohau Post Office was broken into and a number of letters stolen. A small store near Levin was also entered but little was taken. A car is missing from Foxton.
