On Friday last the property in the estate of the late John Radcllffe, containing 20 perches and dwelling, situated in London Street, Lyttelton, was sold at public auction to Mr Henry Grubb at £4OO by W. K. Simes and Co., in conjunction with F. E. Sutton and Co. Tlio same firm also submitted on account of the trustees of the late F’rank Lufaio a property situated in Dublin Street, with small dwelling, which was purchased by Mr J. Labudde at £SOO. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received May 7, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. May C. At the wool sales the selection of merinos was chiefly spinners’ sorts. There was a limited supply of others. Prices and competition were maintained. Of the New Zealand offerings Hakio made up to 23d and averaged 21 id. F.L.T. brought 15id top price, and averaged 14id. BUTTES PRICES DOWN.
