MOTOR-CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED IN COLLISION.

(Special to the “Star.**) OAMARU, May 0. Fatal injuries were received by Bruce Frame, aged twenty-four, when his motor-cycle collided with a horse this evening. Frame, who resides at Herbert, was proceeding to Hampton about 6.30 p.m. on a motor-cycle, when he collided with a horse ridden by a young man, William Nicholson, who was also journeying to Hampden. The pedal of the < vrlc caught the horse’s hind legs, causing the motor-cycle to somersault. Frame sustained serious injuries to his head, and was conveyed to the Hampden Hospital, where he was attended by Dr Trotter, but he succumbed to his injuries. Nicholson T-tates that, he heard the motor o-cle coming from behind, and pulled in to the bank on his correct side of the road. Frame apparently did not notice the horseman.
