Indian Prince’s Bequests.
Prince Frederick V. Duleep Singh, of The Ilall, Bio’ Norton, Norfolk, second son of the late Maharajah Duleep Singh, of Lahore, and a well-known antiquary, left unsettled propert} r valued for purposes of the English grant at £30,166. To Thctford, the prince left his collection of Norfolk and Suffolk portraits, "partly because of nry fondness for that ancient borough, and partly because I saved the portraits from dispersal from the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk to which they belong. I would suggest that the portraits be hung in the Guildhall.” The portraits are 85 in number.
