An enjoyable surprise party was held at the home of Mr and Mrs L. Johns, 132, Lyttelton Street, Sprevdon, on Saturday night. The evening was spent in games and dancing, the music being supplied by Mr and Mrs Inns. The winners of the lucky-spot waltz were Mr W. Johns and Miss Rene Movna.
