January 3. ’ The South Canterbury Caledonian So- . ciety concluded Its annual sports meet--1 Ingr at Patiti Point to-day in splendid . weather. There was a, large attendance c of the public. The gates receipts for > the two days totalled £176 10s. as . against £l5O last year. The entries , were again large, and competition was ' keen.
