BOY, NINE, FALLS OFF WHARF; IS DROWNED.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. January 3. A nine-year-old boy. Patrick Albert Tuohy. when playing around the Lyttelton ferry steamer wharf shortly after four o’clock yesterday afternoon, fell into the water and was drowned, lie was hi bathing attire, and it is believed he attempted to swim. He was the son of Mrs Tuohy. a widow, who is the housekeeper on the coal hulk Adderley.
