The Vienna correspondent of the *' Daily Mail ” says that King Ferdinand supremely desires to see Prince Carol, who'is at present in Paris with his lover, Madame Lupescu. He has written
expressing the wish to visit King Ferdinand, but insisting that Princess Helen, from whom be desires a divorce in order to n.arry Madame Lupescu, must be sent from Rumania. Princess Helen has won the respect of the Rumanians, who consider that Carol’s
demand is atrocious. M. Bratianu, the Prime Minister,, considers that Prince Carol’s kingship would entail a civil war, but says that King Ferdinand, if Prince Carol 6hows any indication of being a worthy successor, would rescind the Prince’s renunciation of the throne.
