A short sharp earthquake was experienced in Morrinsville at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday and another slight shock was felt at 9.40 a.m. to-day. The Selwyn River ford is in good order. The temporary bridge has j been replaced by another structure, ; giving motorists a dry trip across the shingle.
