By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. PARIS, November 27. Despite Signor Marconi’s denial that he interviewed the Pope regarding the annulment of his marriage, the Rome correspondent of the “ Petit Journal ” says the Pope hfis assented to the annulment. It is stated that Signor Marconi irttcvrviewed the Pope regarding the annulment of his marriage with the iron Beatrice O'Brien. Marconi said that his wife made it a condition before marriage that they could separate whenever she wished and this, Marconi claimed, nullified the marriage in the Roman Catholic canon law. It is rumoured that Marconi is engaged to marry a member of an old Roman aristocratic family.
