Police investigations into the deaths fof the Milton family at Tcnterfield chow that the heads of the wife and three children had been badly battered with some blunt instrument. There was a bullet wound in Milton's bead. The police have discovered that on Wednesday Constable Milton interviewed a local solicitor regarding a matter that had been the cause of some domestic trouble.
