KEEPING ALOOF FROM GENEVA.
FRENCH COMMENT ON IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. By Teleffrapli.—Press Assn.—Copyrl*ht Aus. anci N.Z. Cable Association. (Received November 27, 9.25 a.m.) PARIS. November 26. “Pcrtinax,” writing in the “Echo de Paris.” applies the description “Fasciste” to the British Empire, using the term in its derivative sense of a composite bundle of needs and a common defence binding the Empire in fasces. The Imperial Conference, he says, showed that the British League is in some respects keeping aloof from the Geneva League, and is determined to maintain its integrity.
