AUCKLAND WOOL SALES SHOW RISE IN PRICES.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Xovemebr 26. The Auckland woolbrokers’ report on sales states that the prices show a considerable advance on Wellington, Napier and Wanganui, but the Auckland clip at the present sale represents the best quality in wool presented to buyers this season. Ninety-five per cent of the 18.155 bales offered was sold. There was keen competition for practically all lots offered. Values all round were an improvement on prices. Southern sales are keen. The continental demand for bellies and pieces low. Crossbred was also keen. For medium there was keen competition.
