LOVDOH WOOL SALES Th* r>epartm« nt of Agriculture baa received the following cablegram, dal. i November 24. from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— The wool saloH commenced yesterday (Tuesday) with a large and rcpreHentatbe attendance and fair competition, principally from the »r;.,an and Hom« trade. Compared with last closing rates, merino were 5 per cent to 7| per cent and croes-bred 5 per cent lower. 136,000 hales are available for the Serbs. of which 74,000 are Australian and 53,000 New Zealand.
