MIDDLE-AGED MAN GOES TO GAOL FOR A YEAR FOR INDECENT LANGUAGE.
Per Press Association. HAMILTON, November 25. Haldane James Orr, middle-aged, was sentenced to one year’s hard labour by Justices at the Police Court this morning on a charge of indecent language towards two young boys to whom he admitted making an improper suggestion. The Bench inflicted the maximum penalty on accused, who has been in similar trouble before, saying that he was a menace to the community.
