The Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society's jubilee show commenced yesterday in fine weather, and with record entries in every class save that bf home industriesThe principal championships were Jersey Bull—C. O’Callaghan. Jersey C6w—Dr Walker Hereford Bull a»id Cow—George Smith. Milking Shorthorn Bull and Cow—F. G. Long. Friesians, Bull aqd Cow—‘Hobson Farms. Ltd. Ayrshire Bull—V. Nutsford. Ayrshire Cow—J. T. Wilson. Southdown Ram and Ewe-—R. and G. Coates. Corriedales —Lamb Bros. The pig championships were secured by E. J. Rogers.
