ANNUAL SPORTS HELD AT DUNELM SCHOOL.
The annual athletic sports of the Dunelm Preparatory School were held under ideal conditions on the Christ's College football ground yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance of visiting parents and friends, who witnessed some interesting events. After the events were concluded, the prizes were presented by Bishop WestWatson, who remarked on the success with which the function had been carried out. The school, he said, was an excellent training ground for boys who would later on go to Christ’s College, and in a few years’ time the boys who had run that day would be running with credit in the college sports The results were as follows: Fathers’ race—Mr Hicks 1, Mr Rankin 2.
