FIRE BREAKS OUT ON H.M.S. QUEEN ELIZABETH.
(Special to the "Star.”) LONDON, September 30. A fire broke out yesterday in the engine-room of the battleship Queen Elizabeth, lying in Portsmouth Dockyard. A quantitv of oily cotton waste became ignited, and the flafr.es Spread ripidly and cauied cortsiderable alarm on board The dockyard fire brigade wat sumrhoned, and it. took about half an hbur t. 6 get the fire under Control.
