After stifling heat the city and suburbs were swept by a thunderstorm, Accompanied by terrific wind. Many houses in the suburbs were unroofed. Two men', at present unidentified, working on the construction of a building at Killara were struck by lightning. One was killed and the other 6C'riously injured.
