BECKENHAM SWIMMING CLUB MEETS.
A committee meeting of the fterkenham Amateur Club was held in the schoolroom last evening, the president, Mr F. J. Dfliin. Grouping the chair. A vote of thanks to Messrs Derbridg Harding and Govern for donations to the club funds was carried It was rf - elded to commence «• lub races on t*eembef 5 when the #rst distance oi tjv® riann Cup and also handicap events -for ladies and bailors would l>e hold The club timetable, which Includes mixed bathing on week days, was approved of by the school committee The secretary, was instrurtod to forward a revised list of members to the Canterbury centre. Mr i,. Bourdot was appointed handicapner for the season and Mr F. Sinclair educational officer for the district.
