PRISONS BOARD TO REPORT ON BAUME RELEASE CASE.
CASES OF MACKAY AND BAKER TO BE EXPLAINED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 23. The Minister of Justice stated to-day that the Government has asked the Prisons Board for a report setting out the principles on which the board acts in recommending the release of prisoners and dealing with the facts in rev gard to the cases of Baume, Mackay, and Baker. The report will probably not be available until after the next meeting of the board, which is fixed for the second week in December, but.the report will be published Us soon as it is received.
