Messrs C. P. Agar, W. Bottrell and P. R. Climie, who are delegates from the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce to the annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, to be held in Wellington tomorrow and on Thursday, will leave for the North to-night. Sir Frincis Boys, who is also a delegate, left for Wellington on Monday night.

Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P., was recently advised by his doctor in Christchurch that the condition of his health required that he should have a complete rest for two or three months. Mr Sullivan, however, had arrangements in hand for a lecturing tour of the North of Auckland on behalf ot the Labour Party, and he decided to carry out that Undertaking first. He addressed a series of meetings, but at Dargaville the Strain of continuous travelling and speaking showed its effect, and Mr Sullivan became indis posed during the meeting. A medicAl man was called in, and he vetoed any further public meetings for the time being. Mr Sullivan is now recuperating in the north prior to returning to Christchurch.
