SEALED BAND SELECTIONS ARE REVEALED.
NORTH ISLAND CONTEST AT WELLINGTON. (Special to the “Star.”) WANGANUI, November 20. At a meeting of the Wanganu' Executive of the North Island Brass Bands’ Association last night, the music for the forthcoming band contest at Wellington, which has been under seal, was opened. The selections are as follow: A GRADE. No. 1—“ Lorzing ” (Round). No. 2.—“ Gounod” (Rimmer). B GRADE. No. 1, 4 If Flanto jJtagico ” (Mozart). No. 2 “Fra Diavolo ” (Auber). A GRADE QUICKSTEP. “Wairarapa” (G. C. Truseil). B GRADE MARCH. “The Outpost” (Percy Shaw). With the exception of the selection “ Lorzing,” this music has not been published in England or in the Dominion.
