THE WOOL MARKET. Per Press Association. HASTINGS. November 20. A ITawke’s Bay runholder in a big way this morning received the following cable from his London agents:— “Consider outlook for new clip encouraging. Position, statistically sound; stocks negligible; everywhere people are of opinion present fall is due to bear movement.”
It was noticeable at yesterday’s Napier sale that in many instances broken wool. which includes necks, pieces and bellies, sold at comparatively higher prices than good sound fleece. The Continent absorbs most of this broken wool.
