BROTHER-IN-LAW FOUND HIM WOUNDED IN CHEST.
Paul Linklater, who was missed from the Christchurch Hospital yesterday, was returned to hospital this after-
Linklater was staying with relatives at Kaiapoi. His brother-in-law, it is understood, was awakened from sleep late on Wednesday night by the sound of a shot, and on going into Linklater’s bedroom found him wounded in the chest. Linklater said something about doing away with himself. He is a married man with four children, and is living apart from his wife.
