ST DAVID’S HOLD THE ANNUAL SHOW.

FINE DISPLAYS OF FLOWERS AND OTHER SECTIONS ARE WELL REPRESENTED

The seventh annual display of flowers, produce, cookery, etc., organised by St. David’s Church, Sydenham, was opened this afternoon, when there was a very good attendance. The proceeds of the show, which will be continued this evening', will go towards the liquidation of the debt on the church. The display of flowers is especially fine and evoked much comment from the judge, Mr It. Nairn. Mr J. C. Lord, judge in the cookery section, also spoke highly of the quality of the exhibits. Record entries were received for this year’s show, and the church building was not able to accommodate the display, a big marquee being erected on the grounds.
