Evidently it is a polite Welsh vrav of saying the Maoris have gone to pot. “Journalists travelling on the Renown will be housed on the bridge.” This news item has annoyed our cub reporter. lie believes that the “Fourth Estate" is the sort of one that has ornamental iron gates to it and standard roses all the way up and a butler to open the door, and he pointed out 5,° t^ie chief reporter that cattle are “housed” in winter and the word should not apply to journalists. The chief reporter, however, pointed out that “housed” was probably a cable error for “soused," and the junior is content. K K 8 Duneciin is to be presented with a statue of St. George.
