NEW SCOUT TROOP FORMED IN ST ALBANS.
Boy Scout affairs in Christchurch are by no means at a standstill, A new troop is about to be registered, having been formed in connection with St Stephen’s Church. St Albans. The Rev N. Friberg is chairman of the troop committee, and the scoutmaster is Mr R. L. Sullivan. A large number of boys have already been enrolled, and the prospects of the new troop seem bright. The Llnwood Troop Committee are organising a bazaar in aid of the camp funds of the No. 4 Scout Troop and Nos. 1 and 3 Wolf Cub Packs. BrigadierGeneral A. W. Andrew, C.M.G., Dominion Cbief Commissioner, has been invited to attend the bazaar. Warrants have been issued for the following appointments to the Lyttelton Sea Scouts:—First mate. Sea Scout W. Gilrav; second mate. Sea Scout L. Huston; cub master, Mr T. Perry; assistant cub master. Sea Scout D. W. Lester. _
