CALCUTTA EXCITED OVER ELECTIONS.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. “ Sydney Sun ” Cable. DELHI, November IS. Polling scenes in north and south Calcutta were marked by much excitement. At one point, a free fight developed. The authorities had armoured cars in readiness but they were not necessary. Women were entitled to vote for the first time but very few excrcise’d the right.
