Mr Sydney Bell, an old resident of Christchurch* who left New Zealand twenty-five years ago. has returned, and intends* taking up his residence again in this city At the Christchurch skin sale yesterday morning, a motion of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Mr Walter Hill, who was chairman of the Woolbuvers’ Association for many years. Mr Robson spoke in high terms of Mr Hill’s character, and the respect in which he was held.
