WEDDING.

DUNN—BROWN. The Orari Presbyterian Church on Labour Day, was the scene of a wedding, when the marriage took place of Lydia, daughter of the late Sir and Mrs Brown, of Million, Cumberland, England, to Fred T. Dunn, Invercargill, son of Mr and Mrs Dunn, Orari. The church had been beautifully decorated with pink and white flowers, with a large pink wedding bell suspended above the bridal party. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a dainty frock of ivory satin trimmed with silk lace, an embroidered veil being held in place by a double wreath of orange blossom buds. Her bouquet of tulips and nai*cissis completed a very pretty toilet. Two bridesmaids were in attendance, Miss Ivy Brown, sister of the bride, and Miss Vera Dunn, sister of the bridegroom. They wore frocks of shell pink georgette trimmed with silver lace, and Dutch caps of pink tulle and silver lace. Their bouquets were of tulips and narcissus. Fernie Gillespie, niece of the bride, was flower-girl, and wore a heliotrope organdie petal frock with rosebud trimming, and a wreath of rosebuds round her head. She carried a silver basket of flowers. The Rev J. Anderson was the officiating clergyman. The bridegroom was attended by -Mr C. A. Butler as best man, and Mr Bert Dunn, cousin of the bridegroom, as groomsman. Miss Gladys Dunn presided at the organ. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. Mrs Dunn received her guests wearing a beautiful gown of navy marocain, with hat to match. The bride's sister wore grey marocain with hat to tone. Later in the day the happy couple left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a dress of patterned heliotrope and rose crepe de chine, with repp tailored coat and smart crinoline hat.
