AEOLIAN CLUB.
Artistically decorated with palms and Japanese maples set on pedestals, and bowls of broom and rhododendrons, the stage at the Choral Hall looked most attractive last evening when the ASolian Club gave a delightful recital. Those who contributed to the programme were:—Miss Elsie Morah, wearing a model frock of black taffetas, handsomely beaded in pale blue and white beads, with squaw collar of black, georgette, Miss Bessie Pollard, lilac shot taffetas, made with pointed bodice at waist-line, which was outlined with brilliants, finished with tinselled rose on shoulder; Miss Lilian Hanham. flesh crepe de chine, shirred round waist-line, with panel of cream lace let in from neck to hem; Miss Sheila Tobin, black crepe de chine, made on straight lines, with flared skirt; Miss Judith Mathias, powder blue marocain. made with long bodice and circular skirt, and finished with scarlet rose on shoulder; Miss Olive Cooper, deep beige crepe de chine, with floral <- scarlet poppies; Miss Bettv Hannam. shell pink satin, with panel back and front of georgette to tone, which wa* beaded in silver beads: Miss Violet Ilalliday, iade green georgette, made with straight bodice and godets let in on sides of skirt.
