ELLERSUE NOTES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. November 4 The outside of the course proper, outside three trestles, was available for fast work at Ellerslie this morning. The weather was fine and the track was in good order. Tukia ran the last four of five furlongs in 52 3-ssec. He appears to be very well. Quincoma beat Gala Day over six furlongs in lmin 21 4-ssee. Chairman ran five furlongs in lmin losec, and Serang four in lmin 2sec, neither being bustled. Lysander ran five furlongs comfortably in lmin 11 2-ssec. White Bird ran half a mile in 52 2-ssec, Ruanui and Mountain Pnnce taking 52 3-ssec for the same distance. Muscari and Danae covered five furlongs in lmin 6sec. Barometer, Ruapapa, Aura Mavis and Boomerday ran a mile in lmin 47 2-ssec. Barometer and Ruapapa were in front at the finish. Master Mind beat Salamander. Template, Wonder Star and Nassock over six furlongs in lmin 24 2-ssec. Master Doon was in front of Abbey Day and The Lamb over four furlongs in 53 1 -s.sec. Mandane beat Mask and Star Ranger by several lengths over a round in 2min 4 4-ssec. Merry Damon and True Blood were in front of Gold Fern over six furlong* in lmin 21 l-ssec. Nucleus and Tresham were on terms at the end of a mile, run in lmin 50sec. Tc Kara and Mint Leaf were together. in front of Te Monanui, at the end of a round in 2min 8 3-ssec. Gold Jacket easily beat Kamehame ha over a round in 2min 12sec. Tall Timber and Charlady ran six furlongs in lmin 22ser. Papatu beat Rahepoto over six furlongs in lmin 23 4-ssee, Meqry Jest, alone, taking lmin 22 l-ssec. Archibald was in front of Pavo over a similar distance in lmin 21 l-ssec, Schorr taking lmin 24 4-ssec. Dave ran four furlongs in 53 2-s*«c. Quondong and Claris were in front of Newburv over six furlongs in lmin 21ser After breakfast Royal Form ran once round in 2min 7sec. m Archeno sprinted four furlongs in 53sec. Chamour covered six furlongs in lmin 21 sec. Miss Astron was in front of Clockwork and Whetuhine at the end of six furlongs in lmin 24 4-ssec. Rina Maunga sprinted four furlongs m oil 2-osec. Flowing Bowl and Tom Moore ran five furlongs in lmin Bsec. Zanc Grey sprinted three furlongs in 40 l-ssec. Thursby and Pompey were on terms at the end of five furlongs in lmin 6seo. Marsund was in front of Auriculu.-. with Segment third, over half a mile in 52 l-ssec. Na.ncy Lee sprinted three furlongs, but was not tim^d Gleuotus and Dimlight were together over a round in 2min 19 2-ssec The jumpers. Uralla and Dav Bell, jumped four hurdles, giving a good display. Quinvadia performed fairly over four pony hurdles. Peter Amans, Indemnity and Torch finished in that order over a. round of the big fences, including a hill.
