It was definitely decided to-night that the New Zealand League football team for Eugland wpuld leave bar. the Aorangi from Auckland on August 3, instead of by the Tainui from Wellington on Aug”st 14, They will reach Liverpool on The change was rendered necessary by the fact that English League required the team to play its first game in the middle of September. Arrangements have been made with the Canadian National Railways for the team to travel in a special tourist car from "\ ancouver to Montreal. Jt was stated that the extra cost of travelling by Canada would be about £ 1 000. This alteration of plans means the abandonment of the proposed match in Wellington for August 4. The appointment was approved of Mr J. R. O’Shaughnessy, of Christchurch, as official press agent on the tour.
