GREENSTONE IS FOUND ON THE WEST COAST
(Special to the “ Star ”) GREYMOUTH, July 21. A valuable find of high quality greenstone is reported to have been made alongside the road near Greenstone. Mr R. Kean, a roadman, has made a “ stake,” and it is understood that the greenstone has already found a purchaser. It is a block measuring approximately 4ft 6in by 2ft 6in, and will have to be broken up for removal The present value of greenstone is 4s 6d per lb.
