Collins will not play in the fourth Test, nor will he attend the match, on the advice of his doctor, who fears that, the worry resulting therefrom might retard his complete recovery. LEAGUE TESTS ARRANGED. LONDON, July 21. The Northern Union has issued the programme for the New Zealand League team’s tour, opening on August 11, at Dewsbury, and ending on January 30, against Eng - land. Three Tests will be played, on October 2, At Wigan; on November 13, at Hull; and on January 15, at Leeds. MR ACLAND AS COMMISSIONED WELLINGTON, July 23. Mr H. D. Acland, of Christchurch, has been appointed a Commissioner to investigate certain applications by dentists’ assistants for registration under tthe Dental Act, and decide what legislative action is needed to carry out the Commission’s report.
