At the same time the constable noticed that his pockets were bulging. He became convinced that the man was carrying weapons, and decided to search him. lie took him to a spot where there was an arc light, and in the presence of a witness searched him thoroughly. He was carrying three revolvers in his pockets, one of which was loaded in four chambers, and had a spent cartridge in the fifth. In addition he had attached to his waist a belt with two sheath knives. , He was taken to the Police Station, where he gave his name as Leslie Edyvean.
