GRAND CONCERT COMING TO THEATRE ROYAL ON SATURDAY.
A.FEAST OF GOOD THINGS FOR MUSIC-LOVERS On Saturday night, the Canterbury Commercial Travellers’ and Warehouse men’s Association will present the big gest concert it has yet been their pleas ure to promote. The Theatre Roya: has been specially engaged for the en tertainment, and the travellers antici pate that it will prove none too big tc accommodate the audience. A feast oi good things has been prepared foi Christchurch music-lovers, the artist: contributing to the programme includ ing Madame Winnie Fraser, New Zea land contralto, who has added consid erably* to her already* enviable reputa tion since her return from Europe where she studied under the best mas ters and made many successful appear ances in the opera houses of the Ole World. The Christchurch Liedertafel and some of the best soloists in the Dominion, will support Madame Frasei in a great concert programme.
