STROKE HANDICAP AT SHIRLEY DRAWS BIG FIELD. A stroke handicap was played at, Shirley on Saturday. There was a' large number of players, but, owing to the recent bad weather, the course was heavy, and the cards returned were not un to the usual scoring. 11. I— Fisher. H. A. Boddington and K. J. In the Semi-final, which requires to be played by Friday, July 16, Alillard and Miss Baxter play Deighton and Miss Alarriott, and the winners play Reese and Aliss Webb In the final. The play-off between J. Alillard and E. J. Woolf for the captain's trophy was won by Millard.
