HUGE CROWD ATTENDS EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS

The fourth day of the Eucharistic Congress in Chicago was set aside as Higher Education Day. Another huge gathering assembled, composed of the elder boys and girls lrom the Chicago church schools, the girls in white dresses and the boys in white blouses, all with a cap or sash of gold, making a striking picture. Many schools brought their own bands, there being at least fifty within the stadium, sometimes twenty-five playing simultaneous^’. The ‘Papal Delegate, with the Cardinals and their suites, again presided. The concluding ceremonies of the Congress will take place to-morrow at Mundelein, forty miles from Chicago. The place has been named after Cardinal Mundelein. Three-quarters of a million people (are expected to attend. Large numbers are already making a pilgrimage to the scene in order to avoid congestion on the roads and trains. Many are equipped with tents and cooking utensils, planning to camp at the place.
