Among guests at the United Service Hotel are Messrs A. E. Davis, D. C. Halley and W. A. Sutter, of Wellington. Recent arrivals at the Clarendon Hotel are Messrs R. D. Brown and A. Robinson (Wellington). Guests at Warner’s Hotel include Messrs R. Arlow and F. G. Wood (Wellington) and J. Foley (Auckland). Mr Justice MacGregor will hold a sitting of the Supreme Court in Christchurch on July 5. Mr William Hayward, of the Rink Taxis, will leave Christchurch early next month on a business trip to America.
