KYOGLE-SOUTH BRISBANE RAILWAY OPENED.

The line forms a new iron link between New South Wales and Queensland and affords an outlet |>r the produce of a large, rich agricultural area previously not served in the north coast districts of New South Wales. It also constitutes the first definite action in the direction of the unification of the railway gauges in the Commonwealth.
