SATURDAY’S MATCHES. The match committee of the Canterbury Rugby League has decided to continue i(a competitions next Saturday. Recently the Canterbury Hockey Association asked that the games be postponed owing to the match between the New Zealand and the Indiau Army hockey teams at Lancaster Park on that day. The committee has resolved that as several representative matches have yet to be decided, and no competition games were played last Saturday, tt would not be fair to the players to postpone the matches, thus making a thrcc-wceks’ break in the competitions.
